{"id":451,"date":"2021-04-12T10:27:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-12T09:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/annabelwrites.com\/?p=451"},"modified":"2025-04-25T18:43:26","modified_gmt":"2025-04-25T17:43:26","slug":"looking-forward-to-beyond-covid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/annabelwrites.com\/?p=451","title":{"rendered":"Looking forward to beyond Covid."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having recently been trying to work a bit more on my blog I\u2019ve joined a couple of groups on social media which have been great for morale! This last week I\u2019ve been meeting more bloggers including the lovely <a href=\"https:\/\/itsmechrissyj.co.uk\/\">Christine Jones<\/a> whom has made me realise I should be looking forward to beyond Covid. I have also enjoyed spending time reading other blogs, there is so much and so many subjects that are covered. So many that I cannot count but I\u2019ve really enjoyed reading them and meeting fellow bloggers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even a palaeontologist that isn\u2019t called Ross!!! (Bit of a generalisation there sorry!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are my things to look forward to, in no particular order (who am I kidding you\u2019ll be able to work it out!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. A day shopping with my mum; we\u2019ve missed our trips to primarni, tkmax and gunwhaf quays. We were about to embark on this new stage of our lives due to my boy going to preschool full time and me working part time but we never got to do it. So I will look forward to \u2018ladies that lunch\u2018 with my ma<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Seeing my friends makes me happy and I don\u2019t mean bumping into my gay best friend while he\u2019s out walking his dog or having a walk in the park trying to have a conversation over the four year old! I mean having afternoon tea out with them, or sitting in a hotel having coffee and having a good catch up face to face without scrolling through Facebook to see what they\u2019ve been doing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXdM7ero0hI1dq7rrYip_e6RLWUyTwed8g3BYmaPDCtkmRo_aZsRT5J9lXd1wBFfMt0Ws8DvJJP24MMK2lXQE9PqagKqwFIsVA_3GZDavdfhm1_jjE55GpFn2PBoqsmPqM3_BhRN?key=76zlzK6UXbMNCezUskmMwdNE\" alt=\"Looking forward to going out with friends\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Days out with my boys; and I know we are going to hillier on a regular basis but it\u2019s all outdoors which is great but it will be good to go somewhere different. I am especially looking forward to taking William on a train or a bus because this would be so exciting for him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Getting my hair permed just before lockdown was such a good idea making my life so much easier but I never realised how much the perm would grow out. I am so grateful to say that next Wednesday I will no longer have to try and disguise my half permed hair!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. I am looking forward to my brother getting married and moving to France. He and my lovely future sister in law were due to get married and move last year but instead it got postponed and on top of that he lost his job. So for both of them I am looking forward to their new adventures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXetOi37rWT5xBGkjti2vMxrrvj1-muTL42rOvVQ9qB8WEhdtlTuTa-6C142_R0KOpkDV4j0-8_gU0Hzmop1TgfKrRQRXzhj8oBFzywUtqF2j3EmCsINU9FYlSdcLjavH-GhnDe7?key=76zlzK6UXbMNCezUskmMwdNE\" alt=\"Evening meal at wedding\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So come join me and tell me what you\u2019re looking forward to once we have all had the vaccine and things (relatively) get back to some sort of normality??<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having recently been trying to work a bit more on my blog I\u2019ve joined a couple of groups on social media which have been great for morale!
