How they pronounce words (cute when they can\u2019t use letters like S).&nbsp; BUT I used to have an awful habit of correcting peoples grammar and pronunciation.&nbsp; Although I will only do this with people that I know quite well, normally my dad (he\u2019s a proper country bumpkin) but he now does it on purpose to wind me up (\u2018bants\u2019 as my brother calls it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lately William is getting really good at talking, actually quite good vocabulary for a 2 year old, but I do talk a lot and I\u2019ve always tried to encourage him.\u00a0 However now he talks all the time from the minute he wakes till the moment we put him to bed!\u00a0 He loves a good book or even two on some nights before we say good night to the sunshine on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/url?sa=i&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=images&amp;cd=&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiQlLOfx9PkAhXKzIUKHVwJCAIQjRx6BAgBEAQ&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gro-store.com%2Fgroclock.html&amp;psig=AOvVaw3TjH1D1pwcgdpyZ6lkxFR8&amp;ust=1568661912096643\">Gro <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Gro-Company-Gro-Clock-Sleep-Trainer\/dp\/B002APJCNE\">Clock<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His favourite book at the moment is about a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorkpress.co.uk\/news\/15997769.day-tiger-called-fenella-came-live-holmfirth-told-york-writer-mike-kenny\/\"> tiger called Fenella<\/a>, it\u2019s quite wordy and he\u2019s asking questions all the time all through the book (I\u2019m surprised I actually get to t\u201dWhy, why why?????\u201d Seriously bud at that time of night you shouldn\u2019t be thinking or asking questions, just shut your eyes and dream of Paw Patrol or Blaze!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXfW3Aiifk9M-HO0aS5ZoX2208PaOPz0tBznlqmDooL_szoAVmEy9xJps2oRJ3OGef2obhtsHzoceN0CGnbMK3pIn9iIDaqXW9R1u7tdINyyUTfR1EKh43v30XunoNLNcA6B4YKZ3A?key=Kpp63XFsHK6dA1gXP9ejnzK5\" alt=\"Image result for blaze monster truck\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the last couple of weeks the word \u2018why\u2019 has come up in conversation so so so much, which we were both expecting but the amount of times is WAY more than what I thought it would be\u2026.I remember my nephew asking a lot of questions when he was this age and I never thought I\u2019d hear someone ask \u2018why\u2019 so much, until now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXcODxBWinJA5GdMNi7akE7F1rBIMde_O3PrpNiK6QQS_wBQ4D-tlMnTyf4cWnjW4saIX_iKzgWAyo7VPUuOdjHWaQYbF7WO9DWO09zCTE9MxHGk_niOIX72K2NXhjpGexAZFXYG?key=Kpp63XFsHK6dA1gXP9ejnzK5\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:591px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The correcting of the pronunciations is another thing, it started a few weeks ago and in the beginning it was quite cute.&nbsp; However I was reading one of his favourite books the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Smartest-Giant-Town-Julia-Donaldson\/dp\/0333963962\">Smartest Giant in Town<\/a> and when I read the page about the dog crossing the bog and him needing a path (I refer to as path like dad) he corrects me <em>again<\/em>; \u201cMummy it\u2019s path.\u201d (parth) I roll my eyes and he then tells me off and says \u201cread it again.\u201d&nbsp; Ok the first couple of times was fine, but now I\u2019m having to remember to say it properly *rolling eyes*!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXf23PoyHS1UmngkMvKhBkonynLi4_ZVhqJazXqqsDS1LSa6_e4YEwZ2xPjR5raBOecYeic0ww2K2H3IoBWVEra0fID09HS_6kSJJtWXWpv_KJufdB8_8Dl3sJGnglIvbsOIMFI4?key=Kpp63XFsHK6dA1gXP9ejnzK5\" alt=\"Image of smartest giant in town\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He says water without the \u2018t\u2019 so I started to correct him and I\u2019m ninety nine percent sure he\u2019s taking the p*ss because now I\u2019m sure he\u2019s doing it wrong on purpose.&nbsp; So I tricked him and I missed out the \u2018t\u2019 and he corrected me the RIGHT way (so he\u2019s doing that now), but seriously he knows how to say it properly he just likes to get my attention!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday he was with my mum and dad for the day, and whilst watering the garden my dad said we\u2019ll put some wa\u2019er in the bird bath.\u00a0 <em>You know what I\u2019m going to say don\u2019t you?<\/em> \u201cGrandad it\u2019s waTer and Barth!\u201d\u00a0 Luckily my dad has a sense of humour, and laughed at him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s wonderful isn\u2019t it, seeing the little ones grow and learn how to have conversations.
